Love the App but major crashing problem

I am currently on my second year subscription to NY Mag through the app store and I love it. But for several weeks now I have not been able to open the app. It crashes within 2-3 seconds and I have tried everything imaginable. I have written two emails at the support address given on the website and received no answer. In the mean time, new issues are available and I am not able to enjoy my subscription...
Given the fact that we are now quite a few subscribers sharing the fact that we are encountering this problem, an answer and a solution would be most welcome!
